"A few thousand days". So a thousand days would be about 3 years, "a couple thousand days" would be about five and a half years, so a few thousand would be anywhere from within the next 8 years or more. It could be a massively changed world starting in about a decade (in the most optimistic scenario if a "few thousand" days is closer to 3 000 than say 10 000 days. I take his point at the end about the impacts on labor markets. Given the significant potential for significant job displacement and social and political upheaval in that regard, I think our societies will need to have a serious look at things such as universal basic income, as pointed out by Mustafa Suleyman in recent months.
